Size Chart

dress with guidelines for measuring the size

Final Garment Measurements:
When starting your sewing project, choose your size according to the final garment measurements shown in the instructions for each design. If you are uncertain, look for a garment that fits you well, measure it, and compare the measurements to the chart. This way you will have the fit that feels best for you. The pattern designers recommend a certain amount of ease for each garment, which should help you choose the right size.

1. Bust: The circumference measured across the front, from armpit to armpit.
2. Waist: The circumference measured at the waist, roughly 17.6"/45 cm from the shoulder.
3. Hip: The circumference that is usually about 6–8”/15–20 cm below the waistline. This is often the widest part of the garment.
4. Front shoulder to hem: The length measured from the shoulder straight down to the hem of the garment.
5. Front neckline to hem: The length measured from the centre front of the neckline to the hem.

Standard Body Measurements:
The chart below can be used as a guide to choose the right size. However, we recommend looking at the final garment measurements when deciding on the size you will make. The measurements correspond to the standard body circumference of a person who is 59.8"/152 cm to 69.7"/177 cm tall.
