JORDAN is a callback to vintage overalls with a cropped bib and straight-back shoulder straps. The design requires nothing but buttons for hardware, and the elastic back waistband makes the garment easy to pull on and comfortable to wear
Historical fashion has always influenced the US-based pattern designer Madeline Southwick, and it frequently inspires her designs. Madeline is a self- taught designer who spends her free time – when not chasing around her two toddlers – creating sewing patterns.
Fit and size:
Choose your size based on your hip circumference. Add a recommended positive ease of 2–2.8"/5–7 cm. Pick the size that is the best match for your hips.
Maryna Makarenko is 65"/166 cm tall and wears a cropped-hem version of JORDAn in size 3 in white. Maria González Leal is 61"/156 cm tall and wears JORDAn in size 6 in black. The length of the trousers has been adjusted.
Fabric recommendations:
Choose anything from a light to heavy- weight fabric with no stretch. We recommend woven fabrics for this pattern; some examples include blends of wool, linen, duck canvas, cotton twill, or denim. The black sample was made from woven “Cupro Linen Lyocell” (35% cupro, 35% linen, 30% Lyocell, 5 oz/170 gsm). The denim sample was made from “Natural Stretch Bull Denim” (98% cotton, 2% spandex, 12 oz/407 gsm). Both fabrics by Salt Lake Sewciety.
Files:
A4 (home printing) and A0 (copy shop printing) PDF files with layers, sizes nested. Sewing instructions are in a separate PDF file. As an extra, this pattern also includes “Paper saving pdf files” where each size has its own more efficient layout. If you only want to print one size, using these files is one way to reduce the amount of paper needed.

After purchasing, you will receive a link to download the PDF files. There are no delivery charges for the digital patterns, as they are delivered automatically via email immediately after purchase. PDF patterns are only eligible for return and refund if the provided download links have not been used. If the download links have been used, the product will not be refunded.
