The submission call for Issues No.22 and No.23 is open!
We invite designers to submit original designs for our January and April 2027 issues, exploring the themes of Workwear and Rituals.
Issue 22: Workwear
Issue No. 22 explores contemporary interpretations of workwear: garments inspired by utility, durability, and purpose, reimagined for modern wardrobes. We invite designs that draw from traditional work uniforms, craft clothing, and functional garments while introducing new perspectives through material choice, silhouette, construction, or adaptability.
Think of clothing designed to move, protect, and endure. Garments with pockets, modular details, reinforced structures, or multifunctional elements, balanced with aesthetics, comfort, and personal expression. We welcome workwear influences across cultures, professions, and environments, from studio to street, garden to workshop, urban to rural contexts.

Issue 23: Rituals
Issue No. 23 explores clothing and objects that hold meaning in our lives: from the garments we return to and make with care, to pieces worn for life’s important transitions: celebrations, farewells, rites of passage, or other personal ceremonies.
Rituals don’t have to be grand – they can be quiet, practical, personal, or inherited. Sewing itself is a ritual: preparing materials, following steps, repeating movements, learning through the hands. We’re interested in patterns that carry intention, care, and meaning, whether everyday or ceremonial.
We invite designs that honour continuity, repair, memory, transformation, or cultural traditions, as well as new rituals created through contemporary living.
