Designer Calls

How to participate?

Our designer calls are typically open twice a year, usually in February–March and August–September. Each call reveals the upcoming issue themes, giving designers the opportunity to submit original creations inspired by them.

The latest call closed on 15 March 2026. A huge thank you to everyone who sent in applications!

Designs are selected based on creativity, originality, and how well they respond to the theme. We look for thoughtful concepts, clear presentations, and ideas that can be developed into patterns and garments. Everyone is welcome to apply, regardless of experience, background, or location.

Selected designers receive professional support throughout the process, including pattern development, grading, technical guidance, and promotion via TAUKO Magazine, social media, and our online community.
