When starting your sewing project, please note that there are errors in your print copy of TAUKO Magazine, which we would like to correct.

Sizing and Modifications
p. 72 The inch values in the Lower Hip row of the Standard Body Measurements chart are incorrect. The centimetre values are correct.

The correct inch measurements are: 33.9, 37.0, 40.2, 43.3, 47.6, 52.4, 55.9, 58.3, 60.6.

p. 111
Under Cutting, the pattern piece is listed as:
2 × Panty on fold
This is incorrect. The correct cutting instruction is:
1 × Panty on fold

The upper centre front pattern piece is missing 0.2"/0.5 cm of seam allowance. Add 0.2"/0.5 cm to this edge before cutting the fabric. The correct seam allowance is 0.6"/1.5 cm.

CLARIFICATIONS

JUANITA Bra – Finishing the Cup Seam

The sewing instructions do not describe how to finish the inside curved seam of the bra cup.

For a neat finish, you can bind the cup seam using the designer's method demonstrated in this video:

ALLYN Panty – Optional Fit Adjustment

The crotch length of the pattern is longer than on the sample shown in the photographs.

If you prefer a shorter crotch length, you can modify the pattern as follows:
• Draw a line parallel to the gusset seam toward the back of the pattern.
• Shorten the crotch length by overlapping the pattern pieces by up to 3.9"/10 cm.
• Redraw the back crotch curve to create a smooth seam.
To lower the waistline, redraw the top edge of both the front and back pattern pieces, lowering it by up to 1"/2.5 cm.
