Designer Call for Issues No.22 and No.23 is open!
We have just opened our designer submissions for Issues No.22 and No.23, set to be published in January and April 2027. The upcoming issues explore the themes Workwear and Rituals, inviting designers to submit original patterns that reinterpret functionality, tradition, and personal meaning in contemporary clothing.
Issue No.22: Workwear focuses on durable, utilitarian garments: drawn from work uniforms, craft clothing, and functional pieces, while emphasizing modern style, comfort, and versatility. Issue No.23: Rituals celebrates garments and objects imbued with care, memory, or ceremonial significance, from everyday practices to life’s meaningful transitions.
TAUKO Magazine welcomes submissions from all designers and offers comprehensive support, including pattern grading in nine sizes, professional editing, photography, hand-drawn illustrations, and online sales opportunities with a 50% commission. Selected designers will also receive printed copies of the issue and community exposure through TAUKO’s Make & Share platform.
