Juliana is an airy blouse that moves like a whisper around the body. Designed with ease and softness in mind, this piece is elegant yet relaxed, feminine without constraint. The design has a gently voluminous silhouette. At the back, a yoke frames a generously wide, gathered panel to create fluidity. The hem dips longer at the back. Side-seam slits add both practicality and a subtle architectural detail.
The front opens to the waist, creating a sense of space and versatility. Below the waist, two layered flounces add rhythm and movement. For a simpler look, you can omit the upper flounce, allowing the lower layer to stand on its own. The collar can add drama, but it can also be omitted. The blouse can be made with long sleeves that are finished with softly shaped cuffs to add a touch of refinement to the relaxed form. Alternatively, the sleeves can be left off entirely to create a lighter, more summery version.

Fabric Recommendations:
Choose light, flowing fabrics such as thin cotton, satin, or viscose. Crepe and georgette add texture, while gauze feels airy and weightless. Lace introduces transparency and delicate detailing.
