The GREET hat by Mila Moisio is a warm trapper hat with a hem piece that protects your ears. Doubled batting on the visor and hem add to the puffy feeling of the hat, which you can alter by varying the thickness of the batting. Experimenting with different quilt battings will allow you to create multiple looks with the same design!

Mila Moisio is the cofounder of TAUKO Magazine and lives in Berlin on the seventh floor of an apartment building on Karl-Marx-Allee. She loves early mornings, long breakfasts, reading, and biking in the different neighbourhoods of her current hometown. The diverse styles and ways of being in Berlin offer an endless source of inspiration for her designs.

Fit and size:
Sizes 58 (61, 64) (67, 70):Choose your size based on your head circumference. Add a recommended positive ease of 1.2–1.9"/3–5 cm. Pick the size that is the best match for your head.

Fabric recommendations:
Top fabric and lining: Choose a woven, medium weight, non-stretch fabric, 4.1 oz/yd² / 140 g/m². Batting: Choose a 3 oz/yd² / 100 g/m² polyester batting. The sample is made from a 140 g/m² vintage polycotton fabric that used to be a bed linen.

A4 (home printing) and A0 (copy shop printing) PDF files with sizes nested. Sewing instructions are in a separate PDF file.
