The SELENA dress features a scalloped trim around the neckline, sleeves, and hem. Voluminous sleeves with oval-shaped slits are another striking design element. The pattern is available in two variations, with the V-neck positioned at either the front or the back. You can easily adapt the design by replacing the scalloped trims with bias binding for a cleaner finish. You can also shorten the dress to your liking and finish it with a standard hem. Create a sleeveless version by finishing the armholes with bias binding.

Fabric Recommendations:
SELENA works best in light to medium- weight fabrics. Consider using woven, non-stretch fabrics with structure for dramatic sleeves. Choose fabrics like cotton, taffeta, dupion, organza, brocade, or linen.

The red sample with the back V-neck is made in “Pillar Box 130 European Laundered Linen” (100% linen, 3.8 oz/130 gsm) by Merchant & Mills. The ochre sample with the front V-neck is made in “Wildflower Wovens” in the colour WWOV4010 Diamonds in Poinsettia (100% cotton, 3.69 oz/125 gsm) by Art Gallery Fabrics.
