S-Hem is an asymmetrical wrap skirt with a sculptural, curved ruffle along the hemline. Its clean lines and fluid movement create a dynamic silhouette that shifts as you walk. The character of the skirt can easily be adapted by adjusting the proportions of the ruffle. The version with the longer ruffle creates a more dramatic silhouette with enhanced movement and volume. This interpretation emphasizes the sculptural quality of the design, resulting in a more fluid statement look. In contrast, the shorter ruffle version offers a more understated interpretation. Reducing the width of the ruffle makes the silhouette lighter and more minimal while retaining the skirt’s distinctive asymmetrical line. 

Thanks to the wrap construction, the fit of the skirt is naturally adaptable. You can adjust the overlap at the waist during wear and modify the length of the waistband to suit your preferred style. The pattern includes side seam pockets for added functionality. If a cleaner or lighter finish is preferred, the pockets can be omitted without affecting the overall construction of the skirt.

Choose a medium-weight woven fabric with a beautiful drape. Viscose, velvet, silk, cotton, and linen are all good options.
