Jen designed TILLY as a garment to showcase the hand-embroidered textiles of the past. It is a simple piece that highlights the skillful detailing of cherished fabrics to create a future heirloom garment. TILLY can be made from one or more linen tablecloths and/or combined with a similar weight fabric such as cotton or linen to create the perfect summer blouse that will draw endless compliments. Make this design with or without a collar, depending on your preference and the amount of fabric you have available.

Fabric Recommendations:
TILLY works best in medium-weight fabrics. Consider using one or more embroidered linen tablecloths to showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of these heirloom textiles. Plain linen fabrics also work well, along with medium-weight cotton or light denim. Both samples are made from vintage tablecloths from the designer’s stash.Fabric Requirements:
