Sewing patterns
Each issue of TAUKO Magazine includes 8-12 actual size paper patterns with individual, illustrated sewing instructions. The patterns come in 9 sizes with bust width from 31”/78 cm to 57”/146 cm. The designs are created by international contributors with different backgrounds in fashion, pattern making and sewing.

Columns, articles, essays
Columns and essays highlight the theme of each issue. Articles, book reviews and tips give insights and open up new perspectives to sewing, climate, culture and community.

TAUKO is a 128-page collectable that measures in at 275mm high x 215mm wide. There are four folded paper pattern sheets included with the magazine. It is printed in Estonia with a glue and stitch binding to secure durability and easy reading.

Each issue will be shipped directly from our warehouse in Berlin or our studio in Helsinki. We’ll ship the current issue to you within 2-3 working days and the upcoming issues will arrive to you by the publishing date. Due to the current global situation, we are occasionally experiencing shipping delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

The prices are for the whole year and include the shipping cost for four copies.

When placing the order, you can use the recipient’s address for delivery and your own for billing. Please use your own email address if you’d like to keep the gift a surprise! You can share the recipient’s email with us by leaving a note on the checkout page. We will then send all future shipping confirmations and other order-related messages directly to them.

As the Premium subscription also includes the digital version, we’ll manually send the instructions for accessing the digital content to you, and you can forward them to the recipient whenever you like. If you’d prefer us to send the instructions directly to the recipient, please let us know in the checkout note or by email (magazine@taukodesign.fi)

The gift subscription always begins with the current issue, and by default we ship the first issue right away. If you’d like us to send it later or start with the next issue instead, please leave us a note when placing the order. If you are getting the gift for someone you share a home with and really want it to stay secret, note that the package will say TAUKO on the outside.
