Sewing patterns
Each issue includes 8-12 actual size patterns with individual sewing instructions. The patterns come in 9 sizes with bust width from 31”/78 cm to 57”/146 cm. The designs are created by international contributors with different backgrounds in fashion, pattern making and sewing.

Columns, articles, essays
Columns and essays highlight the theme of each issue. Articles, book reviews and tips give insights and open up new perspectives to sewing, climate, culture and community.

TAUKO is a 128-page collectible that measures in at 275mm high x 215mm wide. There are four folded paper pattern sheets included with the magazine. It is printed in Estonia with a glue and stitch binding to secure durability and easy reading.

With premium subscription, you will receive instructions for the accessing digital magazine including digital patterns, PDF files, to be printed as A0 and A4/letter. Each design is on a separate PDF file. The sizes are nested and with layers. The patterns include a 0.4"/1 cm seam allowance.

The sewing instructions are made available through the members area of our website. As a subscriber you will have access to this area. You can download the files from pattern specific folders or get the whole collection with one click.

You'll also get extra support for your creativity: 3D images of the designs, round table videos, links and discounts on fabric recommendations.

Shipping
Please note that the instructions for accessing the digital content are sent manually, allow us 1-5 days to process your order. If you made your order during the pre-order period, you will receive the link on the publishing day of the issue. All print copies will be shipped directly from our warehouse in Berlin or our studio in Helsinki. Due to the current global situation, we are occasionally experiencing shipping delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

HANDPRINT is a community-supported campaign helping TAUKO develop new ways of thoughtful, supportive, and connected culture of making. Running from 2nd of June to 30 June.

Through the campaign, we are creating new ways to share sewing knowledge, guidance, and community experiences — helping more people move from inspiration into making while developing their own handprint with more clarity, confidence, and less overwhelm.

As the campaign grows, new shared tools and experiences will be unlocked together, including:
