SUKARIA is a timeless dress featuring two distinct overlay variations. Designed for comfort and elegance, the base dress is sewn from soft knit fabric, complemented by a shawl-like overlay in either woven or knit material. The design lends itself to creative play with textures. Try a sheer, delicate fabric for a light and airy look or a cosy wool knit for added warmth during winter festivities. SUKARIA is available in two lengths – knee and midi – making it suitable for a variety of occasions. A subtle back slit adds both ease of movement and a graceful design detail, offering a glimpse of the leg in motion. You can add small sleeves to your dress or finish the armscyes with bindings.

Fabric Recommendations:
SUKARIA The dress can be made using a wide range of knits and jerseys, with weights ranging from 5.31 oz/80 gsm to 8.26 oz/280 gsm. The overlay can be made from either knit/jersey or light to medium- weight woven fabric. Consider choosing a fabric with a good drape. Linens, cottons, silks, viscose, and Tencel are all great options for the overlay.

The symmetrical midi-length version in lilac is made from “Fine Linen Knit” (100% linen, 4.3oz/145 gsm) by METERMETER. The burgundy knee-length dress is made from “Merino-Feinjersey Amaranth” (100% merino wool, 5oz/170 gsm) by Anita Pavani Stoffe and has an asymmetrical red overlay made from “Pillar Box 130 European Laundered Linen” (100% linen, 3.8 oz/130 gsm) by Merchant & Mills. It is finished with silk thread by Anita Pavani Stoffe.
