Lauren Merciris, @maya_sewingpatterns, brings her Christmas spirit with her to Japan — and her own Christmas tree as well! Celebrating the festive season in a different cultural setting adds a sense of curiosity and openness to her holidays.
Lauren is the founder of MAYA Sewing Patterns. A French expatriate currently living in Japan, she creates designs that embrace slow fashion, couture principles, and meticulous attention to detail, encouraging makers to feel confident and empowered.
