The SAGA trousers bring volume into everyday dressing. Their four front pleats gather fabric smoothly at the hip before flowing down into wide legs. Although the shape is expressive, SAGA is surprisingly easy to sew. It relies on an elastic waistband for comfort and a clean silhouette, eliminating the need for complex fastenings. SAGA looks elaborate but comes together with ease, making it ideal for experimenting with bold proportions. You can also extend the front pleats to your preferred length for a more personalized look.

Your choice of fabric sets the tone. Soft brushed tracksuit knits, sweatpants fabrics, or jersey create a relaxed, lounge-friendly version that moves gently with the body. Linen, cotton, lightweight denim, or twill offer more structure, allowing the pleats to stand out and the legs to maintain a sculptural shape. Either option offers a distinct character – from cosy and casual to crisp and architectural.

The light grey sample trousers are made in a linen/cotton blend (55% linen, 45% cotton, 6.05 oz/205 gsm). The printed trousers are made in woven viscose (100% viscose, 4.42 oz/150 gsm). All fabrics from the Spring 2026 Light & Lush collection by Stoffabrics.
